About Phi Phi island

Getting to Koh Phi Phi is easy, with access available all year round. This small tropical paradise is located in the Andaman Sea, just 42 km from Krabi, 48 km from Phuket, and 35 km from Koh Lanta.

The Phi Phi Islands are made up of six smaller islands, with Phi Phi Don being the only one inhabited. Phi Phi Don itself is quite small — only 8 km long and 3.5 km wide — and has no roads, cars, or traffic. The only way to get around is on foot or by taxi boat, making the island peaceful, walkable, and free of air pollution.

The landscape of Phi Phi is truly unique and unlike anywhere else in Thailand. Towering limestone cliffs rise dramatically from the sea, creating stunning views and remarkable rock formations that make the islands one of the most photographed destinations in the country.

Koh Phi Phi is also part of a national marine park, famous for its rich underwater life. Visitors from around the world come to explore its vibrant coral reefs through snorkeling and scuba diving, making it a top destination for marine lovers.

But it’s not just about nature — Phi Phi also has a lively social scene. The island’s compact village center is filled with rooftop bars, beach clubs, and live music venues. At Loh Dalum Bay, you’ll find the iconic beach parties and nightly fire shows that light up the sand after sunset.
